Christine S. Mahon, M.A., F-AAA – Clinical Audiologist

Christine received her B.A. in Speech Pathology/Audiology and her Master of Arts in Audiology from San Jose State University. She is licensed by the State of California as a Dispensing Audiologist.

Prior to opening Diablo Hearing Services, Christine worked as a clinical audiologist within the Kaiser Clinics in the Bay Area and for three private audiology/hearing aid dispensing practices in the East Bay area. She also worked as a contract audiologist for Synergy Rehabilitation, providing hearing testing for numerous skilled nursing facilities in the local Bay Area and in Central California.

Christine has a passion for people and helping them to better understand and discover solutions to their communication issues. In her moments of leisure, she spends time with family, friends, and staying active outdoors.

Raymond G. Crookston Au.D., CCC-A

Ray is a second-generation audiologist with a passion for helping individuals with hearing loss. For over 20 years he’s been in private practice specializing in hearing diagonostics and hearing device technologies. He is certified and licensed with ASHA, CAA (California Academy of Audiology), and the State of California Audiology and Dispensing Bureau. Ray has taken his skills to remote parts of the world, attending audiology mission trips to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and Ghana, Africa.

Ray received his Doctor of Audiology degree from Central Michigan University – Mount Pleasant, MI. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Utah State University in Logan, UT.

He loves the outdoors, and when he’s not spending time with his patients, he keeps busy running, hiking, and enjoying time with his family.

Stefanie Beauchamp Office Manager

Stefanie joined the Diablo Hearing Services team in 2014. She has 15 years of experience in office management and she is certified as an Audiology Assistant. Stefanie’s range of experience includes performing clean & checks on hearing devices as well as repairs on a needed basis. One of Stefanie’s top strengths is her outgoing way with patients – she’s a great people person. Co-workers and patients agree, she’s the best!

She enjoys a busy life with her family on the weekends. Stefanie has four children that keep her involved with extra-curricular activities. She’s also a big sports fan and loves to watch her local basketball, football and baseball teams.

Terri Costello Accounts Payable

For over 10 years, Terri has worked at Diablo Hearing Services helping to organize and manage our accounts payables. As a part-time employee, she spends the other hours fulfilling her passions for traveling, hiking, cycling and spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Molly and Grizzy.
